SQA Engineer Manual + Automation (AI-Assisted) 6 - 8 Years
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer who can drive quality assurance initiatives across web and mobile applications while leading an AI-first QA culture. Manual testing remains the foundation of this role, but the ideal candidate must also champion automation, AI-assisted testing workflows, and modern QA practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor QA engineers across manual and automation testing initiatives
- Define QA processes, testing strategies, and quality standards
- Perform and oversee manual testing including functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases for web and mobile applications
- Manage defects and bug tracking using Jira / ClickUp
- Drive automation initiatives using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and CI/CD integration
- Use AI tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT to improve testing efficiency, bug analysis, and automation development
- Perform API testing using Postman / Swagger
- Support performance testing, security validation (OWASP), and database testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely product releases
- Promote and establish an AI-first QA culture within the organization
Required Skills:
- Strong manual testing fundamentals (STLC, test design, bug lifecycle)
- Good understanding of API testing
- Expert in bug tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp)
- Hands-on or exposure to AI-assisted tools (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
- Awareness of AI-driven testing platforms (Testim, Mabl, Functionize)
- Basic understanding of performance (JMeter/k6) and security testing (OWASP)
- Basic SQL / database testing knowledge
