About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior MERN Stack Developer to join our growing development team. You will work on modern web applications and contribute to real-world projects using the MERN stack. This role is ideal for someone with solid fundamentals and hands-on experience in Cursor or Vibe coding environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and optimizing database queries and schemas using MongoDB (basic familiarity with PostgreSQL or Redis is a plus).
- Support the integration of live streaming services such as Agora, Ant Media, or AWS IVS under senior team guidance.
- Contribute to search and filtering features using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
- Help implement basic personalization logic (e.g., trending content or content sorting based on user activity, followers, or location).
- Write clean, efficient code using the Cursor or Vibe coding environment — this is a must-have skill for this role.
- Collaborate with senior developers and participate in code reviews, sprints, and development discussions.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Proficiency in using Cursor or Vibe coding environments — this is a mandatory requirement.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and frontend/backend integration.
- Familiarity with Git, version control, and basic DevOps practices.
- A collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong problem-solving abilities.
