About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual and automated testing, identifying bugs, and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure that software products meet quality standards and requirements.
- Identity, document, and report software defects and issues to the development team using the bug tracking system.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other quality assurance engineers, to ensure that software products meet functional requirements.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure that software applications are functional, user-friendly, and meet performance requirements.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not negatively impact existing features and functionality.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of software testing and quality assurance processes.
- Document testing processes and results to maintain a clear record of software quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Monday - Friday
- 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Gulberg 3, Lahore
