Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer responsible for designing and building advanced AI-powered systems that deliver real-world impact. This role combines software engineering and applied AI to develop production-grade capabilities using LLMs, AI agents, and computer vision. As part of Crewlogix’s AI-first operating model, you will build intelligent systems that analyze visual environments, automate workflows, and power AI-driven product experiences.
(Agentic AI + Computer Vision / Vision AI Focus)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement agentic AI workflows capable of reasoning, planning, and tool usage
- Build computer vision pipelines for image analysis, object detection, and defect detection
- Develop multimodal AI systems combining vision models with LLM reasoning
- Implement AI inference APIs and scalable backend services
- Train, fine-tune, or adapt vision and multimodal models when required
- Build real-time or near-real-time image processing pipelines
- Contribute to model deployment, monitoring, and optimization
- Mentor junior AI engineers and review AI implementations
- Use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) to accelerate development
- Optimize AI pipelines for latency, scalability, and inference cost
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience
- Strong Python development skills for AI systems
- Experience building production-grade AI applications and APIs
- Experience with GenAI frameworks, RAG pipelines, or AI agents
- Hands-on experience with computer vision frameworks (OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with vision models such as YOLO, Detectron, SAM, CLIP, or similar
- Experience building multimodal AI systems combining vision and language models
- Familiarity with vector databases and embedding pipelines
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong expertise in AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.)
- Understanding of prompt engineering and token optimization strategies
- Frontend experience with React / Next.js or backend experience with Node.js / NestJS is a plus
